Volunteer Services

Our volunteers are a vital part of The Elizabeth Hospice team. They visit patients, sit with the dying, assist in our office, comfort the bereaved, provide transportation or offer complementary therapy services.

You can make a difference! Be a special part of The Elizabeth Hospice team by completing a volunteer application. Please join us for our fall training. To find out where you can serve in San Diego County, please view our service area map.

Our professional staff trains volunteers through a comprehensive training program offered several times throughout the year. Graduates work in a variety of capacities such as patient care, bereavement, transportation, administration and outreach.
